Erasmus Days Activities Promote Renewable Energy Awareness Among Students
On 14 October 2025, within the scope of Erasmus Days, various dissemination activities were organized by the project partners. As part of these activities, presentations on energy sources, sustainable energy, and renewable energy were delivered to secondary school students. In addition, games, interactive activities, and laboratory studies aimed at increasing students’ awareness were carried out.
The event was organized by Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University (MSKU). In the first part of the programme, students were provided with awareness training on renewable energy sources, and the importance, objectives, and expected impacts of the GREENLIGHT Project were explained in detail.
Following the training sessions, participating students visited the physics laboratories and had the opportunity to gain in-depth and practical knowledge about renewable energy technologies. These visits enabled students to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through direct observation and experimentation.
The dissemination activities were not limited to MSKU but were also expanded internationally through the contributions of project partners. Activities carried out by University of Minho (UMinho) included the sharing of educational content related to renewable energy.
In addition, AESAS organized educational games for children focusing on renewable energy sources, contributing to increasing awareness through interactive learning methods.
Furthermore, Nikola Karev DSU and Liofyllo disseminated project promotion materials and informative videos about renewable energy sources through their social media channels, reaching a wider audience.
These activities significantly contributed to raising awareness among young generations about energy issues and highlighted once again the importance of renewable energy sources for building a more sustainable future.
