SMCAHL students prepared STEAM studies on renewable energy by reusing waste materials within the scope of the GREENLIGHT project. The exhibition aimed to raise awareness of sustainability, recycling and renewable energy.
MSKU and ŞMÇAİHL students participated in a tree planting and school area greening activity within the scope of the GREENLIGHT Project. The activity aimed to raise awareness of environmental sustainability, biodiversity, and environmental responsibility.
Students at DSU-RCSOO Nikola Karev Strumica took part in an eco-friendly school clean-up activity within the GREENLIGHT project, promoting environmental responsibility, waste reduction and sustainable habits.
The 4th Transnational Partners Meeting of the GREENLIGHT Erasmus+ Project was held in Strumica, North Macedonia, between 11–13 May 2026. During the meeting, the project results were reviewed, while the final reporting process, dissemination activities, and sustainability actions were discussed.
Hosted by Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, the GREENLIGHT Project Final Conference brought together project partners, academics, educators, and industry representatives from Türkiye, Portugal, Greece, and North Macedonia.

As part of its commitment to promoting environmental awareness and scientific literacy, SMCAIL successfully organized Science Café events in five different schools, bringing together students for interactive discussions on today's most pressing environmental challenges.
The University of Minho (U Minho), Portugal, successfully organized a Science Café event under the Project GreenLight, celebrating World Energy Day.
Within the GREENLIGHT Project, Green Energy STEM Student Workshops were completed in Türkiye and North Macedonia, where trained teachers implemented five-module STEM lesson plans with students during November–December 2025. The workshops supported students’ understanding of renewable energy and hands-on learning skills, while the implementation is continuing at AESAS in Portugal.
The Teacher Training and Capacity Building Workshop organised within the scope of the GREENLIGHT Project was successfully carried out during November–December 2025 through the collaboration of the project partners from Portugal, Türkiye, and North Macedonia.
On 21 November, Alberto Sampaio Secondary School hosted a Science Café dedicated to renewable energy, sustainability, and the future of our energy systems.
DSU-RCSOO Nikola Karev Strumica participated in a tree-planting activity in cooperation with the Red Cross and the Firefighting Brigade, encouraging students to contribute to greener surroundings and promoting environmental responsibility, biodiversity and community cooperation.
On 14 October 2025, within the scope of Erasmus Days, various dissemination activities were organized by the project partners.
On 20 January 2025, the vibrant Argyri Agora in Patras hosted a thought-provoking edition of the Science Café under the theme "Climate Change in a World in Crisis."
The third transnational project meeting was held from May 31 to June 2, 2025, in Patras, Greece, under the coordination of Liofyllo. Throughout the three-day programme, the consortium partners engaged in a comprehensive review of the project's current progress and held in-depth discussions regarding the planning and implementation of forthcoming activities.
The digital educational games and interactive learning materials developed within the GREENLIGHT project were tested through pilot implementations conducted in May 2025. The study evaluated their impact on user satisfaction, learning outcomes, and digital skills.
The second transnational meeting of the project has started on November 12, 2024, in Braga, Portugal, hosted by Universidade de Minho and AESAS. Over the meeting of three days, the project's progress will be evaluated.
From October 14-19, a webinar was held as part of Erasmus Days to introduce project activities, focusing on advancements in renewable energy. Students also participated in competitions, promoting innovation and engagement in sustainability efforts.
The eTwinning activities carried out within the scope of the GREENLIGHT Project have been awarded the eTwinning National Quality Label in recognition of their innovative educational practices, international collaboration, and high educational quality.
The Kick-Off Meeting 1 was organized under the coordination of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University from July 20th to 22st, 2024. The topics discussed included project management, quality, dissemination and communication, and green management plans.
