Kick-Off Meeting 1 was held in Muğla, Türkiye

The Kick-Off Meeting 1 was organized under the coordination of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University from July 20th to 22st, 2024. The topics discussed included project management, quality, dissemination and communication, and green management plans.

The kick-off meeting of the GREENLIGHT Project, implemented within the scope of the Erasmus+ Programme, was successfully hosted by Mugla Sitki Kocman University. During the meeting, held with the participation of the project partners, the objectives of the project, work packages, and planned activities were discussed in detail.

In the first session of the meeting, the host university was introduced, and information was shared on its academic infrastructure, research facilities, and previously conducted national and international projects. Subsequently, project partners provided general presentations on their institutional structures and their contributions to the project.

In the continuation of the meeting, the overall framework of the GREENLIGHT Project was presented. In this context, the project’s target groups, expected outcomes, sustainability approach, and dissemination strategies were examined in detail.


Within the scope of the research activities to be carried out in the field of energy and sustainability, the establishment of a renewable energy source database, literature reviews, qualitative and quantitative research methods, content development processes, and reporting stages were detailed.

In the subsequent sessions of the meeting, the design of digital learning modules and educational games, the development of green energy-themed STEM workshops, teacher training activities, pilot implementations, and feedback processes were discussed.

As part of the meeting program, a campus tour of the university was organized, while cultural visits in the city center of Mugla introduced participants to the historical and cultural heritage of the region.

With this first meeting held in Mugla, the implementation process of the GREENLIGHT Project has officially started, establishing a strong foundation for cooperation among the project partners.
