SMCAIL Engages Students Through Science Café Events
As part of its commitment to promoting environmental awareness and scientific literacy, SMCAIL successfully organized Science Café events in five different schools, bringing together students for interactive discussions on today's most pressing environmental challenges.
The sessions focused on key topics such as renewable energy, climate change, fossil fuels, energy sustainability, and the transition to a greener future. Rather than traditional lectures, the Science Café format encouraged open dialogue, allowing students to share their ideas, ask questions, and exchange perspectives on environmental issues affecting their communities and the world.
Throughout the events, students actively participated in discussions, expressed their views on sustainable living and clean energy solutions, and reflected on the importance of individual and collective action in addressing climate change. The interactive atmosphere fostered critical thinking, curiosity, and greater awareness of environmental responsibility.
The Science Café activities proved to be highly engaging and productive, demonstrating the value of dialogue-based learning in inspiring young people to become informed and active contributors to a more sustainable future. Through these events, SMCAIL reinforced its commitment to empowering the next generation with the knowledge and motivation needed to support the global transition toward sustainable development.
