GREENLIGHT Final Multiplier Event Successfully Held by Agrupamento de Escolas Alberto Sampaio

The event brought together 77 participants, including teachers, students, school leaders, representatives of local institutions, and other educational stakeholders interested in renewable energy education and sustainability.

Organized under Work Package 5 (WP5) – Boosting Visibility, Ensuring Impact, the event aimed to disseminate the project's achievements, present its innovative educational resources, and promote the long-term sustainability of the GREENLIGHT project by engaging key stakeholders capable of extending its impact beyond the project consortium.

Throughout the event, participants were introduced to the main intellectual outputs developed during the project. These included the GREENLIGHT e-Learning Platform, the Teacher Handbook, the e-Book, STEM lesson plans, digital educational games, and other open educational resources designed to strengthen renewable energy literacy, environmental awareness, and digital competencies among students and teachers. The presentations also provided an overview of the project's objectives, development process, international collaboration, and the educational impact achieved during its implementation.

The programme highlighted the importance of integrating renewable energy education into school curricula through innovative digital learning approaches. Interactive demonstrations allowed participants to explore the platform and its resources while discussing practical ways of implementing the developed materials in both formal and non-formal educational environments. The event also encouraged dialogue on sustainable education, digital transformation in schools, and the role of teachers in fostering environmental responsibility among young people.

The multiplier event provided an excellent opportunity for participants to exchange experiences, share good practices, and provide valuable feedback on the project's resources. Discussions focused on the usability, accessibility, and long-term application of the GREENLIGHT outputs, reinforcing their potential to support innovative teaching practices and sustainability education across different educational contexts.

The GREENLIGHT Final Multiplier Event successfully increased the visibility of the project in Portugal while strengthening cooperation among schools, educators, and institutional stakeholders. The active participation of all attendees demonstrated the relevance and practical value of the project's outcomes and confirmed their potential to continue supporting renewable energy education, environmental awareness, and sustainable development well beyond the project's completion.
