DSU – RCSOO Nikola Karev Strumica Successfully Hosted the GREENLIGHT Final Multiplier Event

The event brought together 67 participants, including teachers, students, school administrators, renewable energy experts, representatives of educational institutions, and other stakeholders committed to promoting sustainable education and environmental awareness.

Organized under Work Package 5 (WP5) – Boosting Visibility, Ensuring Impact, the event aimed to disseminate the project's achievements, showcase its innovative educational resources, and strengthen the long-term sustainability and impact of the GREENLIGHT project by engaging educators, institutional representatives, and community stakeholders.

Throughout the event, participants explored the project's key educational outputs, including the GREENLIGHT e-Learning Platform, the Teacher Handbook, the e-Book, STEM lesson plans, digital educational games, and other open educational resources designed to improve renewable energy literacy, digital competencies, and environmental awareness. The presentations also highlighted the project's objectives, implementation process, international cooperation, and the educational outcomes achieved throughout the project.

The programme emphasized the importance of integrating renewable energy and sustainability topics into school education through innovative digital learning methodologies. Participants had the opportunity to experience the GREENLIGHT platform and its interactive learning resources while discussing practical strategies for incorporating the developed materials into classroom teaching and vocational education. The event also encouraged discussions on green skills, sustainable development, and the role of education in preparing young people for the environmental challenges of the future.

The multiplier event created an excellent environment for networking, knowledge sharing, and exchanging good practices among educators and stakeholders. Participants provided valuable feedback on the project's resources and discussed opportunities for their wider adoption and long-term use within schools and educational organizations.

The GREENLIGHT Final Multiplier Event successfully increased the visibility of the project in North Macedonia while strengthening cooperation among educational institutions, teachers, and sustainability stakeholders. The enthusiastic participation of all attendees demonstrated the educational value of the GREENLIGHT resources and reinforced their potential to support renewable energy education, environmental responsibility, and sustainable development long after the project's completion.
