The 4th Transnational Meeting Was Held in North Macedonia
The 4th Transnational Partners Meeting of the GREENLIGHT Erasmus+ Project was held in Strumica, North Macedonia, between 11–13 May 2026. During the meeting, the project results were reviewed, while the final reporting process, dissemination activities, and sustainability actions were discussed.
The meeting began with official opening speeches attended by all project partners. During the first sessions, Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University (MSKU) presented the evaluation of the completion of Work Package 5 as well as the requirements for preparing the project's final report. In addition, the 2nd Project Newsletter was introduced, and presentations were delivered on the academic publications produced within the scope of the project. The programme also included a meeting with teachers, during which project outcomes, educational practices, and the experiences gained throughout the project were discussed.
On the second day of the meeting, the project partners visited the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies (FEIT) in Skopje, where they received information about current practices in renewable energy and engineering education. This was followed by a technical visit to the Matka Hydropower Plant and Matka Canyon, providing participants with the opportunity to observe sustainable energy production, environmental protection, and renewable energy infrastructure in practice. The programme also included visits to Skopje city centre and the historic Old Bazaar, strengthening cultural interaction and international cooperation among the project partners.
On the final day of the meeting, the project partners reviewed the activities carried out during the first two days and examined the final steps before the project's final reporting process. The dissemination activities conducted by SMCAIL and Liofyllo were presented, while the University of Minho (UMINHO) introduced the academic article prepared within the framework of the project.
Throughout the three-day meeting, the project partners thoroughly reviewed the activities related to the final phase of the GREENLIGHT Project and planned the remaining tasks. At the conclusion of the meeting, a common agreement was reached on strengthening the sustainability of the project's outcomes, completing the dissemination activities, and establishing a joint roadmap for the project's final report. The meeting concluded with important decisions that further strengthened international cooperation among the project partners and contributed to the successful completion of the project.
