Biodiesel Technology
Biodiesel is a clean and renewable energy source developed as an alternative to petroleum-based diesel fuels. It can be used directly or as an additive in diesel engines. The commercialization of biodiesel in many countries is supported by improvements in product quality and increased customer satisfaction.
Biodiesel production and use are regulated by international standards such as ASTM D6751 (American Society for Testing and Materials) and European standard EN 14214.
